Farms It was the Worst of Times
Satan, the enemy of all that is righteous–and valued by God–almost succeeded in his destructive plan to seduce two of our Kenyan leaders by money and power to attempt a “Coup” to seize control of Principle Based Leadership Family (PBLF)–and had already begun to pervert its holistic, Bible-based values-based leadership development mission to transform families through a saved and transformed husband and father.
Founded and sustained by Core 300 Donors since 2013, and armed with mostly volunteers, Principle Based Leadership grew to graduate 40,000 Kenyan men from our Program in Kenya, Uganda, and Myanmar. Core 300 Supporters had invested in taking our “daughter work” to a new professional and fiduciary level by becoming a Kenyan PBO (Public Benefit Organization). Once I arrived in Kenya, four courageous PBLF Board Members, the National PBO Oversight Board, and several influential and godly Advisors helped us walk a tightrope of confusion, fear, legal issues, and prayer. Holy Spirit-guided our strategy to both broaden our influence, remove the threat, and return to our mission:
“Transform the Family, One man at a time”
The months of November ’25 to February ’26 were the hardest on me since I began coming to Kenya 14 years ago. Firstly, as the only fundraiser for both Core 300 and our works in Kenya, the emergency in Kenya required me to leave the US during the “giving season” of October through December, and totally focus on Kenya.
We were out of funds, but two US Donors kept us engaged enough to stay in the battle.  Two previous Board members–who were removed last August–were impersonating Board officers–and had attempted to illegally take over our organization. The flow of orderly ministry–and our biblical values-based mission to train up men who healed theri families needed to be restored. We also patched some holes with new By-Laws, and installed a strong Code of Values.
The prayers of many worked! On March 6 they recinded their demands for payoff, and with attorneys present legally resigned all claims they had from PBLF. That same day, our 4 godly and well known Board members were added and we revived, restored  Our first graduation class celebration in Vihiga County Kenya    our Coordinators (certified trainers and celebrated God’s deliverance!
                                                                                       It was the Best of Times
On March 6, the leaders removed themselves from the mix and all lights turned GREEN. We had been vetting 4 new trusted Board members since November, and they formaly joined that same day. The next 45 days former ED now Vice Chairman Dr. Vincent Mugun and I traveled through 6 counties to lead conferences, meet county leaders, visit Chiefs and members of Parliament. Our Board split up and spoke at Sunday services, presented to pastors’ association leaders, led 10 mens Warrior conferences. By May–and into June–our hustle led to the graduation 250 new Warriors and 55 newly certified Coordinators. Our goal is to graduate 1,500 more men in the Warrior and Priest by year end.
The brokenness of men is so severe that new vertical demographic groups, many classified as “at risk,” are beginning to hear of us.
For the first time in our 14 years in Kenya we were able to:
1. Create close relationships with 8 Chairmen of different regional Pastor’s Associations in 5 counties. These men are guardians over Kenyan churches in each county and city. A Professor and Grant expert became a part of our PBLF Advisory Board, along with a head of denomination–and 2 joined our Board. We were no longger laboring on the outside, we were collaborting together with local church leaders on thre inside.
2. Onboard civic leaders, ‘Chiefs, and Sub-Chiefs” – The local Chiefs are paid posts that report into an heirarchy leading to the Presidents office. 3 of these men and one woman Chief have begun turning over their jobless and unruly emerging men in Gen Z and Y in their sub-county areas to train as Warriors and Priests
3. Completed our 7-year study of Wives and Family Impact, and submited our results to an independent statistics analysis firm. The ground breaking report was released on July 8 of this month.
4. We Organized our volunteer-adminstrators to oversee 6 Western Kenyan Countys They contain over 8 million family members

5. Kenya is crazy for Football (Soccer)!!
Last year, one of our creative coordinators, Titus, began training high school football coaches and their 18-member teams in the Warrior. We have no surveys yet, but all 3 teams–after they finished our 3-day boot camp–increased their win/loss records by 70%! They began playing “as one.” And, word is spreading! Next week a prestigous Kenyan University near Nairobi with 10,000 students begin planning a pilot launch in September for 60 college athletes and 20 male Business Majors–plus their Ethics Department, for the Warrior course–with plans to pursue our full Vales-based curricula as 3 required underclass studies to strengthen their moral fiber.
6. Now, 3 Universities have invited us into their student body to train their athletes, and coaches,and male students
7. 2 million Motorcycle Taxis (Boda drivers) equal 6.5% of the GDP of the country. They are unruly–representing a large portion rape of girls and women. But in Bungoma, we have a coordinator who has 40 graduate Boda drivers, and a big plan is in the works to train some 12,000 Boda riders in the city of Eldoret (pop. 500,000).
