I’m excited by what God is doing in Kenya! What began at a Core 300 Pastors conference in 2013 has finally been recognized by members of the International Humanitarian Aid community. The news is spreading that we are the most effective program by turning the perpetrators of violent misogyny into responsible protectors and providers for their families. through biblical, values-based leadership and economic development.

Violent misogyny, or GBV*, traumatizes over 75% of the wives and children in Kenya–and high levels of these Tribe-condoned, evil acts are common in the Middle East and Africa today. No religious or secular program has been able to reduce GVB other than the program “Divinely downloaded” to Core 300.

If you have been to Africa–even for a 2-week-missions trip–they keep these behaviors hidden from view.

GBV is the acronym for “Gender-Based Violence” which is a hot topic in the global humanitarian aid community. In the US we call this “Domestic Violence” (DV). But though GBV includes DV, it expands the “violence” to include moral, psycho-social, political, economic, expressions, rape. theft, negligence by a person against a wife, son, daughter, or workplace. Examples include the genital mutilation of baby girls, abandonment, starvation, trafficking, mercy killings–and the widely accepted–emotional and physical abuse.

Our July Newsletter shared the miraculous raising up of Core 300’s Kenyan Affiliate, Principle Based Leadership (PBL), as Kenya’s top choice to fight the bane of GBV* in Kenya. We shared our Holy Spirit-inspired process and content in Mombasa, Kenya, to international and national leaders, and found God’s favor around us on every side!

The “Chairman” of the Civil Agency (see photo-right) responsible for distributing $400 million in grants from 2019-2023 oversaw 15 NGOs (non-profits)–who failed to reduce GBV in any of their programs. He wrote to me last week, thanking Core 300 for developing, managing, and funding our Lead team’s travel–and for paying the steep vetting fees (Thank You Donors!). to get us certified as a Kenyan NGO. He went on to write how our Director Wycliffe Mudavadi said to the whole entourage of dignitaries;

“Core 300’s program does not address or confront GBV atrocities. Instead, we engage the man (perpetrator) and his broken mind and heart with love and self-awareness. Our training programs effectively remove cultural, toxic values and beliefs, and replace them with new Christian and noble values.”

“WOW”, continued the Chairman, “I loved this! All people attending gave Wycliffe a rousing applause– especially the women!”

On to Nairobi
Last week In Nairobi, our PBL team of 3 experts faced three vetting boards from different government agencies.
Validated by random confidential Wive’s Surveys conducted by 579 wives from our 37,000 male graduates, the wives said that their husband’s physical violence against them ceased by 98%, and “my husband now treats me kindly.” ALSO, 94% are “much more engaged as a father,” and have increased household income by working harder (92%).

*|FNAME|, with new levels of favor and funding, we can see God providing for the mobilization of our Bible-based holistic healing and empowerment programs to awaken and revive over 1 million Kenyan men, over several years. And we know most will go home and lovingly transform their families and lift them out of poverty.

“The male of our species are the same everywhere. We are simple: respect and be thankful for us as husbands and fathers, and we will love, provide for, and protect you with our lives. Ignore us–as many Humanitarian and Development programs have done for decades–and we will behave badly.”                          – Deogracious Juma, PBL Treasurer

Then I got a text that an American supporter had given $500! So we hurried and wired them the funds. On Friday, they met with the second vetting group, and they also gave us the green light approval. The final meeting was Monday morning, and with God’s help, we sailed through their scrutiny as well!

Wednesday morning we had an affirming Board meeting and when done, with only bus fare plus 1 hotel night and 1 meal provided for, our Executive Team hopped a bus for their 24-hour ordeal to get to Nairobi. Yet, they were still $500 short of what was needed once our team arrived–and to get them home again on Monday. They asked me for more and I had to say no–Core 300 was tapped out!. But they left anyway–expecting God to move!

Thursday morning they were vetted by the Kenyan NGO Board, and God filled each man’s mouth with the words that more than satisfied the Committee, and they were sent on for background checks.

They sent our three men on to the NGO office to receive our Certification as an NGO!

Hoorah!!

For those of you who prayed, THANK YOU–your prayers were effective!

What’s Next?

We have to demonstrate–not only our competency to this audience, we also have to show CAPACITY to do it–beginning by hitting the road in 7 strategic Kenyan Counties between September 17 and November 17 to roll-out Warrior and Priest conferences.

So far, $21,000 of the $100,000 (PTL!) has come in,  so I’m asking for you to join the other early supporters in the field by giving NOW.

-We need $10,000 to mobilize and pay for 100 Coordinators to come to Bungoma for an intel and refresher course in –  the Warrior and the Priest.
-We need to invest $9,000 in our communications and training equipment–and software, which have not been     refreshed or repaired since before COVID.
-We have to lease and furnish 2 new but small offices–in Nairobi and Mombasa ($11,000).

Finally, we need to repair 5 sidelined Honda motorbikes, buy 3 more ($7,000); buy a used Toyota HiACE 15-passenger bus ($25,000) to carry supplies and people throughout a country the size of Texas!
PLUS travel and event expenses for 1000 men to be trained–and printing 1,000 Warrior and Priest Student manuals ($17,000)

THE KINGDOM OPPORTUNITY IS HUGE! And 3 other African nations have invited us to come this Fall to help them launch their first GBV initiative.

“I have stored up the wealth of the wicked, to give to the godly” – Proverbs 13:22

The BIG picture in Kenya is the SCOPE of transformation God plans to bring to this nation. Help us heal, transform, and return over 1 million angry, shame-filled fathers to their families–beginning NOW. Help us build our Capacity fund NOW to remain in the Queue for millions in government and humanitarian funding for a purely KINGDOM-CENTERED MISSION of evangelism and discipleship for rest of this decade. Help us build THE BRIDGE into 2025 today.

So Others May Live,
